The signature feature is provided for your convenience and record-keeping. For legal validity of digital signatures, you should consult local laws and regulations. Billexa is not responsible for the legal enforceability of signatures added through this feature.

Can someone misuse my signature to create fake invoices? โ–ผ

Your account security is your responsibility. Never share your login credentials. If someone gains access to your account, they could potentially generate invoices with your signature. Always log out from shared devices and use a strong password.

Non-delivery or fake delivery = PERMANENT BAN. Multiple complaints = KYC review. Billexa has strict anti-fraud policy. Report such sellers immediately.

What is Auto Restock and how does it work? โ–ผ

Auto Restock is a feature that automatically manages your product stock:

  • โŒ When OFF: Product becomes Sold after delivery (one-time sale).

How does the Quantity/Stock system work? โ–ผ

The quantity system helps sellers manage inventory efficiently:

Follow these steps to request a return:

  1. Go to My Orders โ†’ Open delivered order
  2. Click "Request Return" button (visible if within return window)
  3. Fill Reason for return
  4. Upload Proof Images (up to 3, showing damage/issue)
  5. Enter Pickup Address for item collection
  6. Fill Bank Details (Account Holder, Number, IFSC, Bank Name)

Your last used bank details are auto-saved for convenience!

How do I handle returns as a seller? โ–ผ

When a buyer requests a return:

  1. View request in Order Detail page

Only verified buyers who purchased and received the product. One review per product per buyer. Seller cannot review their own products.

Can I delete my review? โ–ผ

Yes! Go to My Reviews โ†’ "Given" tab โ†’ Click delete icon. Only the review author can delete. This cannot be undone.

Where can I see product reviews? โ–ผ

Average of all reviews for that product. โญ 1-5 scale. Shown on product cards, detail modal, and QR page. Sort by "Top Rated" to see best products first.

Can seller see who reviewed? โ–ผ

Yes! Seller sees buyer name and rating on their product. Go to My Products โ†’ Click "Reviews" button on any product to view all reviews.

How does Wishlist work? โ–ผ

Click the โค๏ธ heart icon on any product to save it to your Wishlist. Your wishlist is private โ€” only you can see it. Access from navbar or /wishlist. You can adjust quantity, remove items, or place orders directly from Wishlist. Use "Place All Orders" to order everything at once!

Can I see all products from one seller? โ–ผ

Yes! Click "View All Products" button on any product detail modal to see that seller's complete catalog. You'll see seller info, Trust Score, KYC status, and all their products with search & filter options.

It depends on the seller! Products with โœ… X-Day Return badge are returnable. Products with ๐Ÿšซ No Return badge cannot be returned. Check the badge on product card or detail page.

What bank details are needed for refund? โ–ผ

Account Holder Name, Account Number, IFSC Code, and Bank Name. Your last used details are auto-filled for convenience. You can update anytime.

How does seller process my return? โ–ผ

Seller can: โœ… Accept Return (acknowledges request), ๐Ÿ“ฆ Received (UTR) (confirms item back + enters refund UTR), or โŒ Reject (with reason). You'll see status updates on Order Detail page.

How do I get my refund? โ–ผ

After seller marks item as Received and enters UTR/Transaction ID, refund is processed directly to your bank account. UTR number is visible to you for tracking.

How many days to return? โ–ผ

Seller chooses: 3, 5, 7 (default), 10, or 15 days from delivery. You'll see remaining days on Order Detail page. Request within the window!

Is my bank data safe? โ–ผ

Yes! Bank details are encrypted and visible only to seller for refund purpose. Never shared publicly. Deleted on account closure. Read our Privacy Policy.

We have 9 categories: Shop Rent, Electricity Bill, Staff Salary, Internet Bill, Transport, Raw Material, Marketing, Maintenance, and Other. Pick the best match for accurate reports.

Can I see my profit after deducting expenses? โ–ผ

Yes! Your dashboard shows Total Revenue (from invoices) and Total Expenses side by side. The Analytics page has Revenue vs Expenses charts so you can see your real profit.

Can I download expense reports? โ–ผ

Yes! The Expenses page has an Export PDF button. You can filter by category before exporting to get a professional expense report.

Are my bill images secure? โ–ผ

Absolutely! All receipt and bill images are uploaded to secure cloud storage. Only you can view them. They are deleted permanently when you delete the expense.

How do I update my profile? โ–ผ

Go to Profile page from dashboard navigation. Click the Edit (pen) button on Personal Information or Business Information card. You can update your name, date of birth, gender, and business details. Email and mobile number cannot be changed for security reasons.

Can I change my profile photo? โ–ผ

Yes! On the Profile page, click the camera icon on your profile photo. Upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP image (max 5MB). You can also remove your photo anytime by clicking the Remove Photo button.

How do I change my password? โ–ผ

Go to Profile page and click the "Change Password" link at the bottom. Or navigate directly to /change-password from your dashboard. Enter your current password and new password to update.

Can I add my business logo to invoices? โ–ผ

Yes! Go to Profile โ†’ Business Information section โ†’ Upload Business Logo. Your logo will appear on all invoice PDFs, marketplace store, and seller dashboard. Supports JPG, PNG, WebP (max 5MB). If no logo uploaded, default Billexa branding appears.

What business details can I add? โ–ผ

You can add your Business Name, GST Number, and Business Address from the Profile page. Click Edit on the Business Information card to update these details. GST number is optional but recommended for tax-compliant invoicing.

Can I delete my account? โ–ผ

Yes! Go to Delete Account page. Your details are auto-filled. Enter your password and confirm. If 2FA is enabled, you must enter your 2FA code. All your data including products, invoices, KYC documents, chats, and expenses will be permanently deleted. No recovery possible.

How do I enable 2FA for security? โ–ผ

Go to /setup-2fa โ†’ Click "Enable Two-Factor Authentication" โ†’ Scan QR code with Google Authenticator app โ†’ Enter 6-digit code โ†’ Save backup codes. 2FA protects your account even if password is compromised. Learn more โ†’

8 one-time use codes generated during 2FA setup. Format: XXXX-XXXX (e.g., AB12-CD34). Use them if you lose access to your authenticator app. Each code works only once. Save them somewhere safe! Lost codes cannot be recovered.

What if I lose my phone or authenticator app? โ–ผ

Use a backup code to login! Each backup code works once. After using one, you can disable and re-enable 2FA to get new backup codes. If you've lost both phone AND backup codes, contact support at admin@covexa.in for identity verification.

How do I disable 2FA? โ–ผ

Go to /setup-2fa โ†’ Enter your current 2FA code (or backup code) + your password โ†’ Click Disable. โš ๏ธ Warning: This reduces your account security.

Can I make 2FA required for every login? โ–ผ

Yes! Go to /setup-2fa and set the threshold to 1. This means every login will require 2FA for maximum security. You can set it anywhere from 1 to 20 logins per day based on your preference.

What happens if I enter wrong password multiple times? โ–ผ

After 5 failed login attempts, your account is locked for 15 minutes (for users with 2FA enabled). The account auto-unlocks after 15 minutes. A successful login with correct 2FA resets the counter.

Is my 2FA data secure? โ–ผ

โœ… Yes! Secret key is securely stored, backup codes are protected, 6-digit codes are never stored, and authenticator app generates codes locally on your device. No third-party involved. Billexa staff will never ask for your 2FA codes.

How many free logins do I get before 2FA? โ–ผ

Default is 3 free logins per day. The 4th login onwards requires 2FA. You can change this at /setup-2fa to anywhere between 1 (every login) and 20 logins. Counter resets daily at midnight IST.

Go to /change-password or Profile โ†’ Change Password. Enter your current password and new password. Password strength indicator helps you choose a strong password.

What are password requirements? โ–ผ

Minimum 6 characters, maximum 128. Use a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols for strength. Avoid common passwords like "123456" or "password".

Can I change my email or mobile number? โ–ผ

โŒ No. Email and mobile number are permanently locked after registration for security. This prevents account takeover. If you lose access to both, account recovery may not be possible.

Yes! Failed verification doesn't reveal which field is wrong. Multiple failed attempts trigger security review. We never send passwords via email/SMS. All resets happen on our secure website.

Is my UPI ID safe? โ–ผ

Yes! Your UPI ID is private. Only you and the admin can see it. Other users cannot view your UPI ID. It's used solely for sending referral payouts.

What is rate limiting? โ–ผ

Rate limiting controls how many requests you can make to Billexa in a specific time. It prevents abuse and keeps the platform fast for everyone.

How many requests can I make? โ–ผ

General browsing: 50 requests per 15 minutes. Login attempts: 5 per 15 minutes. KYC uploads: 3 per hour. Support tickets: 5 per 30 minutes. Normal usage never hits these limits.

Why did I get "429 Too Many Requests"? โ–ผ

You exceeded the rate limit. Wait for the time window to reset (usually 15 minutes) and try again. This is a safety feature, not a ban.

Does rate limiting affect normal users? โ–ผ

No! Normal browsing (checking products, viewing pages) will never hit the 50 requests/15min limit. Limits only affect excessive automated requests or brute force attempts.

Are static files (CSS/JS/images) rate limited? โ–ผ

No! CSS, JavaScript, and image files are not rate limited. Only page requests and API calls are counted.

How long do I have to wait after hitting a limit? โ–ผ

Depends on the route: Login = 15 min, KYC = 1 hour, Support = 30 min, General = 15 min. The timer resets automatically.
